White Goods

A 'white good' refers to bulky appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and washer/dryer units. BVSWMA's Twin Oaks Landfill accepts refrigerators, freezers, and air-conditioning units containing freon for disposal. Freon is extracted on-site and the unit is recycled as scrap metal. The extraction fee is $10.80 per item.
